Bill Jasien is senior vice president in charge of Institutional Sales and Major Accounts, Public Markets, for North America.

Previous ING experience includes heading Education and Retail Market distribution, leading a national business development team focused on the management of retirement plans, and launching ING’s award-winning Customer Operation Centers. Prior to joining ING in 1993, Jasien worked for the Bush (41) Administration and served in a number of capacities, including assistant secretary of the U. S. Treasury for Finance and Management.

He was recently appointed by President Bush and confirmed by the U.S. Senate, to the Board of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC); is vice chairman of the State Department Overseas Scholastic Advisory Council; and serves on the board of the American Red Cross.

Jasien has a bachelor’s degree in finance and management from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va., and currently holds a gubernatorial appointed seat as vice rector of the Board of Visitors. He holds NASD Series 24, 65 and 66 designations.
