CEO, ING Financial Solutions

Bill Lowe is CEO of ING Financial Solutions (IFS). IFS provides advisor and consumer solutions in the individual retirement market that suit the lifestyles, needs and financial goals of customers. Prior to this role, he was the CEO of U.S. Annuities for ING. He also has held various positions at ING including president of the ING Wealth Management Wholesale Distribution, president of the Corporate and Individual Markets group, and president of the ING Financial Horizons business. Bill has been at ING and predecessor companies since 1994. Prior to that, he spent nearly eight years with Lincoln Benefit Life Company.

He has been a frequent speaker at broker-dealer and industry events including the Insured Retirement Institute (formerly NAVA), the Million Dollar Roundtable (MDRT), the ING Central Europe CEO conference and at Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management.

Bill has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and computer science from Doane College in Crete, Neb. He has participated in the leadership exploration program at Dartmouth College and completed the CEDEP General Management Program at Insead in Fountainebleu, France. He is a General Securities Principal, Investment Advisory Representative, Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Fellow of the Life Management Institute. He is currently the vice chairman of the Insured Retirement Institute and is on the board of The Master’s School in West Simsbury, Connecticut.
